I know this is really out there, but I would love to have the ability to have FileMaker connect in with Active Directory for use as a clients table. It's a pain to have to maintain a clients table in FileMaker when all the clients that are in this table are already in an Active Directory OU.

Sorry, I can't help you here, but I had to read your posting as I wondered what the shortest topic title ("AD") was all about.

For the record, what is "OU"

Organisational Unit.

Since we can authenticate against AD you would think you can allocate access / pull names from AD as well.

I'm re-writing a FM solution and i would like to know if anyone has had any luck or thoughts about this.

You can VBscript to extract info from the AD and import it into FM... There are a couple of hoops to jump through but it would work.
