One of my client created and distributed a FMA8 runtime solution to his clients, but didn't write down the binding key. Now, he wants to update some files (not all)...

He was used to the default 123456 binding key of FMD6 and didn't pay attention to the new date/time default value of FMA8 (ex.: 2006-05-02 15:09:21)

Is there a way for him to retrieve the binding key of an existing solution or is he forced to redistribute all the files to his clients?

Anyone has a solution ?

Thanks

If any one does have a solution they'd better keep their mouths shut!

This would be a direct breach of the developer licence and the solution should only be provided by the developer or possibly FMI.

Good point. I didn't think about that... We never distribute runtime solutions, so I was not aware of the consequences of such a breach...

I'll ask FMI directly,

Thanks for the advice
