Multiple Network Cards X-Server

Hi all

I have just setup my new G5 x-server as my filemaker server. I would like to take advantage of the two network cards. I believe I can use multi-homing or create an IP alias. Can anyone point me to some documentation on how to achieve this?

FMS takes advantage of what the OS allows so you should be looking on the Apple sites for info on this. If you can figure out how to multi-home your NICs in the OS then FMS will just use them.
