Is FileMaker adecuate to publish on the web a music library for sale, listen and download?

FileMaker certainly is, not so much with Instant Web Publishing, but with Custom FileMaker web publishing it is.

You can use paypal and Instant Web Publishing, we cover this in our book:

But to develop a really nice professional site you would most likely want to use custom web publishing.

The FMWebschool website uses FileMaker custom web publishing to both run the site, and for our shopping cart. Our shopping cart system is tied directly into FileMaker and allows us to autofill all of our orders and enables individuals to search, add, and delete items from the cart.
