Errors while running FX-PHP on localhost

I've been running FX-PHP with no problems then suddenly I started getting errors that start with...

Warning: mail(): Failed to connect to mailserver at "localhost" port 25, verify your "SMTP" and "smtp_port" setting in php.ini or use ini_set() in c:program fileseasyphp1-8wwwFXFX.php on line 35

FX: ExecuteQuery XML error: no element found at line 2

Nothing seems to have changed other than my own code. The errors are often, but inconsistent. I may get them 8 out of 10 page views then not get them for 20 page views.

Has anyone seen this?

Here's a little more info...

This seems to be associated with the image_proxy. When I comment out the require_once to include image_proxy.php, the problem appears to stop. Also, I'm having a problem with images coming from FM. In a PHP echo (html) The image size is set to 100 x 65 but the image is showing up as 110 x 75. 110 x 75 is an old setting.
