Its Just Me Posted June 25, 2006 Posted June 25, 2006 (edited) I could not find an area for this question,so forgive me if it does not belong here. I'm sitting here poking the buttons on FM8A and everything is good. I close the program out and go eat. I return to working and open the db and my print options (the printer button on the tool bar) as well as the drop down from the tool bar are greyed out. Anybody know what I did? Thanks, Jim Edited June 25, 2006 by Guest
Genx Posted June 25, 2006 Posted June 25, 2006 Ummm... your stuck halfway through a script? The database isn't finished opening yet... or you haven't opened it at all? Dunno, try those, if it's not them post back.. ~Genx
Its Just Me Posted June 25, 2006 Author Posted June 25, 2006 No, its just a simple single page layout with only an open "script" started...and nothing has changed in the script. This has me puzzled. Jim
LaRetta Posted June 26, 2006 Posted June 26, 2006 Did you happen to work with your privilege sets at all? Possibly disallow printing? Is your script set as Full Access?
Its Just Me Posted June 26, 2006 Author Posted June 26, 2006 LaRetta, I have full access, but the funny thing is that the "Print" script attached to a button will not work either...I went in at attached it just to atttempt a print but no luck? Jim
LaRetta Posted June 26, 2006 Posted June 26, 2006 If you have no records, the Print dialog will grey out. Also, Print is not web compatible. Do you have that checkbox clicked 'Indicate Web Compatibility'?
Its Just Me Posted June 26, 2006 Author Posted June 26, 2006 LaRetta, Boy do I feel like a dufuss…I looked and looked to see what I had done to all my db’s, then when you posted your last reply I laughed my tail off. I had gone in for some reason only known to the db Gods and deleted all the records from the db so you are correct…the print would not work. Well, I guess it comes with the newbie tag. Thanks again, Jim :)
LaRetta Posted June 26, 2006 Posted June 26, 2006 Well, I guess it comes with the newbie tag. It comes with an oldie tag as well. We all do these things on occasion. :smile2:
