i,m new to filemaker.

Have my 1st d/b working ok but cannot find how to print only selected group of sequencial records from a listed tabulated page.

i.e listed page may show all records from 1 to 60 and i may only require 20- 40 to be printed as a group

You pretty much need to change your found set to the desired 20-40, then print Records being browsed in the list view.

If it's always a date range or some other simple criteria to select them, you can store the Find request in a script step and attach it to a button.

If you know you want to always not see, say, the first 20 records, experiment with the Omit Multiple command under Records. There's also a script step that will do that.

I wrongly assumed that you could perhaps select the print area as is Excel etc
