I am quite new to FMP and to everyone else this is probably a stupid question but;

I have created some new layouts and scripts for a client in FMP6 and have come to the end of the development work and now want to update their system with these new features.

But having never done this before I am not sure how to do it. If I copy the databases back onto their server won't it overwrite all of the database entries that have been made since I took a copy and completed the work?

If so, how do I get these latest layouts/reports and scripts into the current databases?

if they haven't made any structure changes to the db (new fields, changed layouts,...) then you can import all their data into your version. Don't forget to reset any auto-enter serial fields!

Other alternative is to redo all your changes in their version.
