Hi

I have managed to get to values from two different field to come togther to form a pop up menu but I am getting the attached pop up message staying

"This action cannot be performed because this field is not modifiable"

does any one understand what this means as dont want to edit it.......

looking forward to hearing what people think

For your goal i think you created

calc_field=Field1&"¶"&Field2 then used it in your value list. Now it seems that you want use this value list to change calc_field and have this message.

You must use this value list fore non calculated fields for example Field1 or Field2.

This is usually the message you get when trying to set a calc'field to something.

HI I am bit confused, I can't find any where to change it from a calculated field to a non calculated field, I don't think I made it calculated field...... I am trying to get Client name and ID in the same field I dont need to change it but just show it
