Newbies ortenzi Posted October 5, 2000 Newbies Posted October 5, 2000 I managed to lose my little book of passwords before I was able to transfer my admin password from my last client to my home list. I know their passwords, as I gave them a copy of my list, but I kept my own admin password from them for copyright reasons. Trouble is that I lost the password that I need to modify the latest version of the DB and I can't get in, which means working from a much older version and replacing all of the elements from the past year. After you have all had a good chuckle at my expence, could someone tell me how I might be able to extract or disable the MASTER password so I can get into the recent version without having to replicate all that work. I hope there is a way, otherwise I'm going to run out of coffee this weekend!!
spragueg Posted October 5, 2000 Posted October 5, 2000 I heard that the only way is to send the DB to Filemaker and they can crack it for you. I don't know if they charge for it. G
