November 25, 200025 yr I have good news and bad news. The good news is that you can have a password for each layout. The bad news is that you will have to write the system to accomplish yourself using features of FileMaker. How difficult this will be for you depends upon your level of FM experience. The method basically involves protecting the files with built-in FM passwords which provide fairly strict protection (no menus), creating a file of passwords, and using scripting to lead the user through password entry and validation. -bd
