Is it really too much to ask for an inbuilt progress bar? Opening scripts, extended loop scripts - a million uses, and it honestly can't be all that hard... just a current % function, and text.. thats all.

Can't make "custom" ones with any particular ease in windows because you can't refresh without the whole screen re-drawing and flashing all over the place.

Hey Alex, it doesn't sound like you've checked out Ray's Progress Bar . I realize you want native, but Ray has made it quite simple here and ... NO flash on Windows either! :wink2:

Lol, this request is over a year old, but i'll make sure to take a look when i get around to upgrading to 9... still don't trust it just yet.
