Pop up Window

Can you use the New Window command like a dialog box that floats in front of the original window? When I run the New Window command all the other windows minimize which ruins the effect.

I think you are asking two separate questions here. A Filemaker window cannot float. Regarding the window minimizing problem, see if this helps (I am on a Mac, so I wouldn't know).
