Newbies Mac jOS X Posted August 23, 2006 Newbies Posted August 23, 2006 For a project ( built in 6 ) we have to combine 4 images that were photographed and edited with Photoshop with transparancy. In Filemaker we want to show these photos on top of each other ( 4 ) but we lose transparancy after import in FM. Is it possible? What is the best way? TIA
Fitch Posted August 23, 2006 Posted August 23, 2006 FileMaker 7/8 can handle transparency, but I haven't messed with it much. It may only work with PNG format, not sure. In FM6 AFAIK the answer is no.
Lee Smith Posted August 24, 2006 Posted August 24, 2006 (edited) I read that as you are wanting to combine 4 images within one Container field. If so, this can not be done, you would have to do this in your other application, i.e. PhotoShop, and then insert the results into the container field. At this point, I don't see the need for a transparent image, but if you want it that way, then use the format as suggested. HTH Lee Edited August 24, 2006 by Guest
