Outlook Firewall alert!

Hi, everyone!

Anytime I send an email from FM through MS Outlook I get a message asking me if I really want to do it, because it could be a virus trying to send info of my computer. ¿Is there any way to get rid of it, so the users don't realize what's going on behind the scenes?

Tks.

In your send mail script check "Perform without dialog."

Yes, it is checked. The problem is that the message comes from Outlook, not from FM.

Have you done a seach in the "How do I" > "emails forum"

+Outlook+dialog

or

+outlook+warning+message?

I think that is the way you will find the answer. I had the same problem and found the fix here.

Sorry I couldn't be more help.

Thanks, Aldipalo. I appreciate your attention to my question and your advice.

This is a security "feature" in Outlook 2003, and I don't believe that there's any way to get around it. ClickYes is a little program which is supposed to click the OK button for you.

Is this because of a Windows or program update on your FM Server? If so, you might consider turning off 'Apply Updates Automatically' and run those yourself when unserved. All kinds of conflicts can happen when those updates run and I'd prefer testing them myself so I can have a chance to restore if necessary.

No, it's not related to Server but just the way that Outlook 2003 operates. I don't believe that there's a setting to disable it.

Ok, that ClickYes little program makes what I was looking for. As a matter of fact I recommend it.

Thanks, everyone.
