I’m using FileMaker 8 v 3, Windows XP Media Center Edition, SP-2, and the Ricoh AP410 laser printer.

FM is not printing properly in duplex mode. I must set the duplex printing option each time I start FM.

When I start FM, I go to printer properties and set Duplex printing to on. FM then performs duplex printing with no problems. However, when I exit FM the setting is lost and the next time I start FM I must again re-enter printing properties and set Duplex printing to on.

The Ricoh AP410 printer is set as the default printer on my computer, and duplex printing is set in printer properties. Microsoft Word and Excel have no problems printing duplex documents with the default printer.

It’s worth noting that on my previous computer, FM 8 had no problems with losing settings. That computer used Win XP Home Edition, SP-2.
