Newbies Martin The Posted September 9, 2006 Newbies Share Posted September 9, 2006 Hi people, 3 days ago I started learning FMP, so if this question seems a drab, then 'xcuse me. I want to create a hybrid view; form and a list on one layout. Portal seems perfect, but the problem is, it "wants" to show data from related tables only, not the same table. comment Posted September 9, 2006 Share Posted September 9, 2006 You can create a relationship to the same table, by putting another occurence of the table on the graph and linking the two. In several days I've been able to create something that would take weeks to make using traditional programming. My impression is; Filemaker is surely powerful for common database applications, but it is not solid as I had hoped. There are small kinks, that need ironing out.
