Newbies J-Mac Posted September 13, 2006 Newbies Share Posted September 13, 2006 I am have a strange problem where the cursor appears to be out of alignment. The cursor is 5 or 6 spaces to the right of the characters being typed. Hence, if I am typing here[color:FFFFFF]..........|<--the cursor is here. I have tried changing fonts and recovering the file with no luck. Has anyone else ever heard of or had this problem? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Ender Posted September 13, 2006 Share Posted September 13, 2006 FM7 and later require anti-aliasing to properly space text. In OS X, this is controlled in System Preferences->Appearance. Setting the Font Smoothing off for "8 point and smaller" should be sufficient. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
