Ben Ball Posted October 21, 2006 Posted October 21, 2006 I have a script that requires a supervisor to check and pass a record. The start of the script asks the supervisor to log in. If the log in fails, the user will be asked to re-log in. press comtine or press cancel. If the user press's "continue" the script will go ahead and finish where as I do not want this. As there are multiple supervisors, and multiple scripts the same, it is very difficult to account conditions for all supervisor log in names. Is there any way I can stop the user pressing "continue" This is more of a filmaker function that I cannot control. The start of the script has failed but the user can still continue it. How can I stop this??
Steven H. Blackwell Posted October 21, 2006 Posted October 21, 2006 It's a little difficult to follow what you're trying to do here. Have you experimented with setting the Allow User Abort to [Off] and setting Error capture to [On]? Steven
Ben Ball Posted October 22, 2006 Author Posted October 22, 2006 Thanks for the response Steven, That does'nt seem to work. I did try. I actually have to work now by calling up the script parameter. If the script parameter is'nt correct when the re-login has been entered then the script will halt. But I still can't see why its possible for a script to finish when something like a login fails. I can't see how its possible to "continue" the script. Ben
