Chart Example with Web Viewer

Featured Replies

Didn't see a specific category for this so I'll try it here.

I have implemented the chart example from Filemaker's website into my own. It works great. I am using the pie chart. But it does not transfer to shared users. How can I get them to see the chart too?

You would need to place the WV files somewhere everyone can access them, on a network drive or host them on and intranet or online.

You could also place the files in the filemaker folder on there hard disk.

You will then need to change the file path accordingly.

Could you give me an example of how to set up the path formula? I had that in mind but not sure about the path.

If you are going to put the file online then replace everything before "WV.html?type=", in the calculation or script, to the URL of the file online.

For example if the WV.html and WV.swf files were just in a folder on your surver called charts then the URL would be: http://www.yourdomain.co.uk/charts/WV.html?

If you are having trouble with this let me know which chart you are using and I will explain further.
