dmerino Posted March 7, 2001 Posted March 7, 2001 Hello. I have a problem I can't solve. Could anybody help me? I have a database published in the web, with Instant Publishing. When I connect it writing the ip number, it works well, but... I want to put a redirection so the users connect to a http address and a squid redirection brings them to the database. My problem is that the link to the database takes the host address instead the ip address as root directory to append the "FMRes/FMPro..." stuff. And it doesn't work. Is there a solution?
Anatoli Posted March 7, 2001 Posted March 7, 2001 I am using: http://1.1.1.1:591/prnet/FMPro?-db=akcedf_.fp5&-format=page2.htm&-new without any problems [ March 26, 2001: Message edited by: Anatoli ]
Simon Posted March 26, 2001 Posted March 26, 2001 I suggest you find a way to hide your ip address as I have just gone on to your database and had a look through filemaker. I could have done a lot of damage. PLease amend the last post to get rid of it. Simon

The server is behind their Firewall, only 2 IP where specified to see the databases.
