Hello. I have a problem I can't solve. Could anybody help me?

I have a database published in the web, with Instant Publishing. When I connect it writing the ip number, it works well, but...

I want to put a redirection so the users connect to a http address and a squid redirection brings them to the database.

My problem is that the link to the database takes the host address instead the ip address as root directory to append the "FMRes/FMPro..." stuff. And it doesn't work.

Is there a solution?

I suggest you find a way to hide your ip address as I have just gone on to your database and had a look through filemaker. I could have done a lot of damage. PLease amend the last post to get rid of it.

Thanks! That is KPN-Qwest provider at its best!

The server is behind their Firewall, only 2 IP where specified to see the databases.
