2 tables in 1 layout?

Not sure whether this has been asked b4, izzit possible to show two related tables in one layout? Meaning one table on the top half of the layout page while the other on the bottom half. I'm not sure how to break it into half...

Portal only shows one related record right?

You can put two different portals on one layout. Will that work for you?

A portal will show as many related records as you want it to - As long as the records are related.
