Alo

I would like to create a txt file from filemaker but what I itend is to apply the ID of a X record to be the name of the file.

If you follow the links from this URL:

Thank's, it was very usefull. It's possible to export with other file extensions like "psd" or "dwg"?

I'm having a problem along this line. I'd like to export an individual field's raw text. It seems that filemaker doesn't give you this option which is weird because it's such a basic need. The closest I can come is a tab file which throws in a bunch of junk characters that I don't want at all. Any thoughts?

I'm on the wrong kind of operating system to discover such glyphs, might it be unicode-16 confusion? One thing though is what the operatingsystem is likely to translate the matters into if a arbitrarily/weirdly chosen postfix is chosen in some way should be reserved for specific purposes.

I don´t know if I understand your question, but what I have done is, I setup a variable for the output file and it work's quite well.
