I used "Research Notes" template and added some of my own fields.

When I am inputting data in these fields in Browse mode and using "Tab" button to navigate to the next field the tab does not follow to the very next field but may go to 2nd field below it but eventually when I keep tabbing it does cover all the fields just not in sequence of the arranged field areas.

how do I fix this?

You will need to set the tab order. (i.e. [color:blue]Layout Mode >> [color:blue]Main Menu >> [color:blue]Layouts >> [color:blue]Set Tab Order). Search the Online Help (with FileMaker Open) for [color:red]Setting the tab order for data for additonal information and examples.
