I know it's possible but I can't find it yet !!

I looking for the option, maybe plugin, for a autocomplete (Microsoft description) on a field in V8.5 Adv.

There are different definitions of auto-complete:

1) Auto-complete on a field. Attach a drop-down list to the field (which is value list) ... see (File > Define > Value Lists). Set drop-down to 'auto-complete using value list' (a checkbox in Field Control setup) ... right-click field then select Field Control > Setup.

2) Have global text field which (as user types a letter) establishes a relationship to portal which filters the results.

What type of functionality are you looking for? :wink2:

I explained all there is to the first technique. For the second yes, you will need a plug-in. The best example I've seen of this technique can be found here:

You can also use Exploded Permutation technique but it will mean that the User must exit the field after each key stroke - something they balk against.
