Newbies workingstiff Posted January 11, 2007 Newbies Posted January 11, 2007 I have look through most of the recent posts but can't seem to find an answer. I am trying to print a selected file via script. Here is what I have so far. [color:blue]-Allow User Abort [Off] -Go to Related Record [show only related records; From table: "WorkOrder": Using layaout: "WorkOrderPrint" (WorkOrder)] -Print Setup [Restore; No dialog] -Enter Preview Mode [] -Print [] -Go to Layout ["WorkOrder" (WorkOrder)] -Enter Browse Mode [] Now the trouble I am having is it always defaults to the first page. I have to then remember the record number and type in the record range. All printing is just one page. Example: I am on record 9. I hit print, everything comes up and I have to type in print page 9 through 9. Then hit print. Is there a faster way to do this? Thanks for any help.
mr_vodka Posted January 11, 2007 Posted January 11, 2007 How is your relationship setup when you are going the GTRR? If there are more than 1 related record, then it will display them all. You either need to fix your relationship so that it narrows the related record to one record or Allow the user to choose which related record they can print prior to printing it.
Newbies workingstiff Posted January 14, 2007 Author Newbies Posted January 14, 2007 It looks like I have to revisit my relationships. I guess they are all realted. It's basically a set work order DB. Pretty basic. Thanks for you help
comment Posted January 14, 2007 Posted January 14, 2007 Select your Print[] script step, and click 'Specify print options'. Under the 'Filemaker Pro' tab, select 'Print: Current record'.
Newbies workingstiff Posted January 25, 2007 Author Newbies Posted January 25, 2007 This plan worked perfectly. Thank you
