WC Howard Posted January 12, 2007 Posted January 12, 2007 Is there a method of executing a script for printing labels from a layout served via the IWP? Printing direct is out because it's essentially a web page, but a script? Is this possible? Using Server 8 to distribute info throughout a company using web browsers, but the warehouse needs to print labels of parts (both sheet and Zebra printers). Any ideas?
IdealData Posted January 13, 2007 Posted January 13, 2007 Any chance you can put a "spare" machine in place? I run a "spare" machine running FMP that continuously checks for updated records. As it is running full FMP then it can do whatever I want with scripting.
T-Square Posted January 14, 2007 Posted January 14, 2007 Because the browser is rendering your data, you have very little control over final output (meaning it would be very difficult to get a specific label printout). You could try to build a layout to achieve this, but it is hit or miss. David
