duplicating record in scriptmaker

Hi All

Newby here. Have a script that duplicates my record but it seems to want to duplicate 2 or 3 times when only 1 duplicate step is put in the script. How do I stop this please

If you can provide your script then we can probably spot it.

If for some reason you do not wish to post your script and since you show that you have 8 advanced, are you aware that you have a tool called 'script debugger'.

This can be found under your tools menu and when used will allow you to go through a script step by step, viewing each step as it is performed.

This handy tool has found me the cause of many a problem such as yours
