object name not staying

I name an object with no problem. But, if I make it a button it loses its object name BUT I cannot rename it, it says that the name is already in use...

Even though it clears the object name field, the name still remains. If you take the button and "unmake" it a button by the 'Do nothing' option, it will show you the object name again.

What is strange is that if you make it a button FIRST prior to naming it, and then name it after it is a button, the name stays.

This seems like a minor bug that needs to be reported to FMI.
