Each of my layouts are designed to be printed, but is there anyway I can create a non-printing custom navigation bar along the left-hand side of the screen? I currently have all my buttons along the right, off the printed page, but I have two different types of buttons I'd like to categorize -- navigation (between table data) on the left, and action items (ex.: launch script) on the right. For each layout the items on the left would remain the same, but the items on the right would change depending upon the actions particular to that data.

I could swear I've seen others DBs like this, but don't have an example ready for me to see how it was done.

Thanks! Lisa

Hi Lisa, and Welcome to the Forum.

You can have items on a layout NOT print ([color:blue]Layout Mode >> Select Item or Items >> Main Menu >> Format >> Set Sliding / Print >> Select the Do not Print button).

However, you will get a hole where they are. I receommend that you create a Report layout and use it.
