Open FInder window to a specific directory

Anyone know how to open a finder window via script on the mac?

I have a mac path i would like to have a button that will open a finder to that directory.

You will have to use applescript

Something like this

Tell Application "Finder"

Open "yourpath" (or Open Folder "yourpath")

End Tell
