Robert Clark Posted February 8, 2007 Posted February 8, 2007 I have recently run into a problem when using a global container field in that I can't access the document that is stored there. If I change it from a global container to a non-global container, I don't have a problem accessing the document. I have used this successfully in the past, but for some reason I can't get it to work now. Has anybody run into this problem, or could you possibly shed some light on what I am doing wrong. Thanks in advance.
mr_vodka Posted February 8, 2007 Posted February 8, 2007 It should work the same. Are you using a reference to the file when you insert the file into one and possibly not checking the reference box when you change it to global?
Robert Clark Posted February 9, 2007 Author Posted February 9, 2007 I am only re-uploading the file after I change it to global. I am unable to see it within a web browser. I can see it is there within the application itself. I am able to see it within a web browser before I change the container to global.
