sent & received mail message stored in FMP?

Hello,

Could anyone please point me in the right direction on how to store received + sent e-mail messages (we use Outlook)?

Reason: creating a project mgt database (inc. doc mgt) whereby each project will require mail communication with external parties. We would like to store these mail messages with the relevant project

Thanks in advance for any suggestions

John,

Thanks for your reply. Doesn't SMTPit focus on send mail activities and not on archiving incoming messages from Outlook?

Thanks

Maarten

Sorry,

I forgot that there is a different plugin name for that functionality (Pop3it). We bought them as a bundle from CNS so I just refer to the whole package as SMTPit. Apologize for my oversight.

Also I have not used it but Dacon has a plugin that supposedly does it as well.

P.S. If you end up going with Dacon's product. Please report back with some feedback to these forums. I have only had experience with their custom menus plugin, Menu Control.

I used Productive Computing's Outlook Manipulator. Worked great, excellent tech support.
