TIP: sending email with no dialogs (Windows)

Was getting the :)

"A program is trying to automatically send e-mail on your behalf"

message when trying to send email without a dialog on a script going through a 1000 records with dynamically created/attached PDF attachments.

I found a free utility that can turn this off (for all programs), but is nice that you can toggle this on/off very easily. It's called ExpressClickYes located here (Context Magic) ... but there's a pro version that allows you to allow emails just from FileMaker, etc.

Is this not a typical setting in most email programs?

In Outlook it's under Tools>Options>Security>"Warn me when other applications try to send mail as me"

I was told that I COULDN't do it, so didn't even look too hard...

... it doesn't appear that I have any option to turn that off ... or something the company may have removed?

Running Outlook 2003 on XP SP2

Can you update your Outlook Express? If you can that "might" give you the option to turn that on or off. I am running Outlook 6 on XP.

Yes it works but it is "free" for 30 days.

What a nuisance from Outlook! I wish Flemaker would give us a fix otherwise the multiple email is less valuable.
