ExpressVP Posted March 28, 2007 Posted March 28, 2007 So I've figured out how to setup, and share files on a network. It was actually easier than I thought. Now I'm wondering, is there anyway to let the base computer which is the host, run, and then be able to connect to it from home, outside of the network. Thanks.
mr_vodka Posted March 28, 2007 Posted March 28, 2007 See if this helps Remote access thread BTW I would recommend getting FM Server if you plan on using this regularly. With Peer ro Peer, the first computer that opens the files becomes the host. If ever the files are closed and another computer opens them first, now they inadvertantly become the host and port forwarding becomes pointless.
