Hello, i have a field called "Name" that is a calculation of "first name" and "last name", when i go into find mode i cannot use that field, is there a way a calculated field can be used in find mode? thanks!

Works fine for me in FM8.0. Do you have the behavior of the field set so you can enter it during find mode?

(Right click on Name, >Field Control >Behavior > Allow field to be entered in find mode - make sure it's checked....)

Let me know if there are other things happening...

it is, but lets say that a "Name" field is "Raymond Gonzalez" if i go to find mode and write "R" or whatever, even the whole name in the "Name" field, it would tell me that no records match that set of find request. Thanks

Check that the result type of your calc is Text.
