Hi all,

Wow, this site makes me feel dumb...so I hope to learn a lot! I just bought FM 8.5 Advanced for a development that I am doing (having used FM6 in the past and liked it).

I have, what is in essence, a real newb question - how to change the focus order of the fields during data entry? When I hit 'add new record' it seems to start at the bottom of my field input list and not where I want it. I've scanned all the documentation but this is not clearly mentioned. Any help would be thankfully received, and I look forward to becoming a member of these forums.

In Layout mode go to Layouts>Set Tab Order.
