elvis_impersonating_penguin Posted January 4, 2001 Posted January 4, 2001 ok how can i make it so that a portal will only display a maximum of 10 records and then have next and previous links to get the the next and previous 10 records??? is this possible at all???
elvis_impersonating_penguin Posted January 5, 2001 Author Posted January 5, 2001 come on, there has got to be a way.....
Vaughan Posted January 7, 2001 Posted January 7, 2001 Not with portals. Instead "move" to the related database, view the records directly and use the standard [FMP-Link] tags to navigate.
elvis_impersonating_penguin Posted January 8, 2001 Author Posted January 8, 2001 that won't work in this case, i am trying to show information from many databases on one page... have to use portals for that... if its not possible, oh well.. it didnt hurt to ask.
Vaughan Posted January 8, 2001 Posted January 8, 2001 What about the inline action CDML tag in FMP 5?
elvis_impersonating_penguin Posted January 9, 2001 Author Posted January 9, 2001 i am using FMP 4.. and i am not sure when (or even if) we are going to upgrade..
Keith M. Davie Posted January 9, 2001 Posted January 9, 2001 I resisted upgrading to 5. But I did. Multiple tokens, inline action, etc. Well worth it. What you need to do, as a developer, is convince them to get you the developer's edition, though with 4 you already have the CDML Reference which comes with 5. Pro but not with 5. Peace Keith M.
