i just wasn't linking to my file correctly.

Alright so i'm hoping someone will fill me in cause i'm so lost.

Lets say I have a FM5 database titled "thedatabase.fp5"

I want to make a page that displays the info from a field titled "TheField"

How do i do that? It must be really simple. Please someone help out a totally confused fool.
