Viewing Summary Fields from a different table

Featured Replies

I have a database with 2 tables.

Both tables have a related field called "match".

Table A keeps track of the dimensions associated with individual kitchen cabinets that my company produces.

Table B keeps track of how many doors each individual cabinet has. The total quantity for all of cabinet doors is kept track of with a summary field that totals the individual doors from each cabinet.

I would like to display the results of the summary fields from Table B in the header of a layout for Table A but I can't seem to make this happen.

[color:red]Can anybody suggest a way to view summary fields from one table through the lens of a second table?

Thanks,

Jarvis

In Table A a calculation ... Sum ( Table B::doors )

Thanks Stuart.

I never cease to amaze myself at how simple the answers are.
