May 2, 200718 yr Hello, I bough this plug in and it was working fine for 2 months now... I had to upgrade my computer to windows server 2003. I re-install filemaker 8.0 and I replace the plug in in the right directory and I do the same with the registration file... My problem, Now I didn't see the plugin in my plugin list in my preference... Help Please!!! -) Thanks Bruno
May 3, 200718 yr Newbies I have had this problem myself, don't know if you have solved it yet. You will need to install .net 1.1 framework on your server, with Windows 2003 this should already be installed but you never know! Also you will need to make sure the msvcp7x.dll is copied from the windowssystem32 folder to the filemaker folder. Hope this solves it.
May 7, 200718 yr mmmm..... hi, I'm sorry for being dumb, but I still new about these things. I already try to place the plugins at the right place, but it seems don't work. I placed it at extension directory of filemaker, and I already install the .NET framework for windows. Is anybody how this could be happend ? I used the filemaker pro 8 advanced. Anybody can help me please...?? because when I try to install it at the other computer can work properly.
May 7, 200718 yr Author I talk to a waves in motion about this issue... they said that this might not works with windows 2003 server, they don't test... They said that somes users can make it works but they don't have any speficic information about why.... If someone can use the plugin with win 2003 server, please help us... and I have framework and the dll installed in the right place....
May 8, 200718 yr what about installation procedure in windows xp for filemaker server pro 8 advance. I already try it at 2 computer but didn't work. But when I install it at filemaker pro 8, it didn't have any problem. About the procedure I made it the same way. Is there any possibilities that the event 4 can't work properly with filemaker server pro 8 advance ?. If there is any resources I would be glad to have it. Thanks... pals......
