Anyone connected to FedEx Ship Manager over ODBC?

Featured Replies

I can only find people using UPS as the shipping provider. I'm trying to integrate Ship Manager so it pulls my shipping addresses from my FM database, but I'm running into some issues. ODBC services is working, but my Ship Manager doesn't want to play nicely with FM so I can map my fields. Anyone have any insight?

Can you just export out of Filemaker and import into Ship Manager, or do you always need it to queary on the fly?

I need to do it on the fly. Right now were inputting new customer information twice. Once in Filemaker and once in Ship Manager, so I like to cut it down to just Filemaker. I was playing around and I got the connection to semi-work. I can now connect and import info, but it imports 1000 addresses at a time. I think I'm going to have to make a "Pending Shipments" table instead of just connecting to my table that has all addresses stored.

Oh, and the reason I was having trouble before was that I had a field set as text in Filemaker and FedEx wanted set as a Number field. :blond:
