Hi,

This probably is easy, but how do you substitute a quote ?

I have tried ??? substiute( field ; """ ; "something else" ) , but that doesn't work. The " stays in there, same goes for ' apostrophe.

Any takers ?

I don't see why platform would be relevant. Most likely these are smart quotes, either entered when the option was on, or pasted from another application.

Why don't you copy the character, and paste it into the Substitute() formula? If that doesn't work, post a sample file (just a text field with the problematic text).
