Hi: I cannot figure out where filemaker saves the pdf file when printing to Acrobat 8.0. It is not in documents folder, the acrobat folder, or the filemaker folder...

anyone have any ideas?

You specify where it goes when you do "Save send records as"

It's at the top of the dialog box on a PC "Save in"

On a Mac it's labeled "To Where"

I'm actually hitting 'print' and selecting 'Adobe PDF 8.0' in the pulldown menu. In this manner, I generate a pdfx1a compliant pdf document.

I don't have PDF writer so I cant say where it is but I'm guessing it's in the print dialogue window when you choose print.

I scoured the print dialogue box...no place to save it...

Anyone else using FMPro8.5 and Adobe Acrobat 8 on the Mac?

I'm also using XMCharts and MMColour, so wonder if it has to do with ICC profiles? worth a check

very bizarre...updated the Adobe products, restarted and now I get the save as dialogue box I was looking for...thanks for helping!!
