Hi

In filemaker 6, i was in a field and with my mouse button i was able to scroll record by record to compare data...

With filemaker 8.5, i am not able to do that, I have to click outside the field and then I can scroll...

does anybody have a solution for me??

I dont really know if there is. Scrolling has changed so that you would use the scroll wheel to now scroll Within a field, portal, etc. How else would you distinguish if you want that to scroll or the record itself?

Move the pointer so it's over the "notebook" in the status area. The scroll wheel will now change records.

I cant replicate your solution. Perhaps it only works on a mac?
