Is there a way to combine two databases to make a new one in FileMaker 8.0?

Simply put. Yes. Each of your current databases would become a table.

In the Import Records dialog, there's an option in the pull-down menu on the right side to create a New Table based on the source table's field definitions.

My import records pull down only shows file, folder, digital camera, xml data source, odbc data source. I can't see any way to create a new table. I have the same problem as the original poster. I purchased a calendar and I need to figure out how to integrate it into my database. D'oh!
