Graphic button to activate popup field

Hello all:

I have a portal row with a '+' sign graphic button. Next to the graphic I have a popup field. What I would like to do is have the user click the graphic and then have the popup field display its choices as if the user had clicked on the popup field. Is there a way to accomplish this type of functionality thru code?

All you need is a "Go to field" step attached to your button. You could also use "Go to object" in FileMaker 8.5. The field needs to be a drop-down list, not a popup.
