June 9, 200718 yr Any idea why a field on a report layout would show in browse, but not in preview mode? I've checked all the field settings, etc (I think)! TIA lpm
June 9, 200718 yr Author "Do not print selected objects" is unchecked for that field, yet it still shows in browse and not in preview. I can't figure it out. Any other thoughts?

June 9, 200718 yr An actual file would be more helpful. As it is, it seems the field is empty in the previewed record. Check which record you are actually viewing, because if you have 'Print: Records being browsed' selected in your Print setup, going into Preview will land you on the first page, viewing the first record in the found set.
June 9, 200718 yr Author I'm not sure why, but I went to a recent backup of the file and the field is just fine in that file. So, I'll just proceed with that one and scrap the file with the wierd field in it. Thank you both! lmp
