Any idea why a field on a report layout would show in browse, but not in preview mode? I've checked all the field settings, etc (I think)! TIA lpm

Format > Set Sliding Printing "Do not print the selected object"

"Do not print selected objects" is unchecked for that field, yet it still shows in browse and not in preview. I can't figure it out. Any other thoughts?

can you post the file or an image?

The field in question is "Temp_Year" it shows in browse but not in preview.

correction: the field is "Term_Year"...

An actual file would be more helpful. As it is, it seems the field is empty in the previewed record. Check which record you are actually viewing, because if you have 'Print: Records being browsed' selected in your Print setup, going into Preview will land you on the first page, viewing the first record in the found set.

I'm not sure why, but I went to a recent backup of the file and the field is just fine in that file. So, I'll just proceed with that one and scrap the file with the wierd field in it. Thank you both! lmp
