Does anyone know how to identify when a record has been changed?

I am looking for a way to populate the account name of a user in a field when he/she has modifed a record.

Do a search for Audit or Field Modification and you should find several example files and discussions.

If you just want to track the user who LAST edited a record, create a text field and auto-enter the Modified by Account name.
